Their Story

The Afternoon

A love story told in the small moments — the ones you only catch when you're paying attention.

Two people walking together through a sunlit garden path with soft green light overhead

The Walk That Started It

A botanical garden. A wrong turn down a gravel path. The moment they stopped pretending they were headed anywhere.

Couple sharing coffee at a small outdoor table in warm afternoon light with flowers nearby
02

A small moment

Every Saturday Since

The same café table. The same order. The kind of routine that becomes a love language without anyone deciding.

The Question in the Light

A meadow. Late afternoon. He had been carrying the ring for six weeks, waiting for an afternoon that felt like this one.

Champagne in the garden. Photographs in the light. The hour where time slows down.

5:00 pm

Reception

The Table

What the evening will feel like — written as a painting of the hours after the ceremony.

Beautifully arranged outdoor dinner table with seasonal food, candles and fresh flowers in afternoon light

The Food

Long tables. Family-style sharing. A menu built from the season — roasted stone fruit, heirloom tomatoes still warm from the garden, lamb slow-cooked since morning. Bread that arrives hot. Everything a little imperfect and exactly right.

The Light

String lights through the canopy. Candles on every table. The hour where the garden turns gold and everyone looks like they belong in a painting.

Small outdoor musical ensemble playing in a garden setting with warm ambient lighting

The Music

A small string quartet for dinner. Then a band that knows every song you forgot you loved. Dancing is not optional. Shoes are.

The People

Everyone here will love each other by the end of the night. That is not optimism — it is what happens when you put the right people in a garden with good wine and long enough tables.
